Texas Health Hospital Alliance has been named a 100 Top Hospital in the nation, among only eight in Texas, for delivering high-quality care while improving efficiency. This honor, given by Truven Health Analytics, annually recognizes hospitals across the nation whose five-year trend analysis shows significant improvement in key quality measures such as length of stay, inpatient mortality and complication rates and 30-day readmissions.
“This achievement is the result of our commitment to delivering high quality, value-based care to our consumers,” said Clint Abernathy, president at Texas Health Alliance. “It reflects the high level of teamwork and focus from our employees, physicians and volunteers on our continued efforts toward being a high reliability organization.”
The award winning Texas Health Alliance also underwent a recent expansion in their inpatient unit to meet the needs of the growing surrounding community. The $7.4 million expansion includes an additional 24 beds in time for the peak of flu season. Each private room contains advanced technology and equipment and is filled with natural light to enhance the healing environment. This is the first of two expansion projects at Texas Health Alliance. The hospital’s expanded and updated Emergency Department is scheduled to open in April 2018.
Congratulations to the Texas Health Alliance for their recent expansion and for being named a top 100 hospital in the nation!
